We're on the lookout for a savvy Social Media Manager to help shape a brand people love to follow.

Our client, a national retailer is seeking an established  Social Media Manager to lead content strategy & execution.   Reporting into a Brand Lead, you’ll be the go-to voice behind all things social – driving engagement, championing creativity, and building genuine audience connections.

A snapshot of the role:
  • Build and execute social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube.
  • Lead creative content asset creation – from briefing to collaborating with internal teams to ensure every post has purpose and punch.
  • Own the content calendar across all social platforms to ensure the brand is showing up at the right time, in the right way, with the right narrative.
  • Spot trends early, tap into culture and community, and keep content ahead of the curve.
  • Manage influencers and content partner relationships from outreach to final deliverables across relevant touch-points.
  • Lead community conversations, advocate for brand values and protect tone, voice and identity at all times.
  • Collaborate across teams, from customer care to category & campaign managers – to amplify content that supports wider brand and business objectives.
  • Manage all organic and paid social performance metrics, aligning content deliverables to commercial KPI's across the customer funnel.
You are a marketer who:
  • Brings 6+ years of hands-on experience managing social media for major brands (in-house or agency side).
  • Understands what makes content click (and share, and save, and engage…).
  • Has demonstrated experience delivering at pace and scale, as an individual contributor driving the social strategy.
  • Is a confident communicator – written and verbal – and has a knack for turning complex ideas into compelling content.
  • Can juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously without missing a beat.
  • Knows their way around social tools like Brandwatch, Sprout, Canva, CapCut and more.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and brings positive energy and a can-do attitude to every brief.

Salary:$110k - $120k + super
Hybrid Model: 3 days onsite: 2 days remote
Location: Sydney Metro (fringe)
