Social & Content Lead | Hybrid Working | 12mth Contract | up to 145k inc
In this role you'll lead the strategic and creative direction across multiple brand retainers, shaping how brands behave on social, guiding creative thinking, and ensuring every piece of content earns attention.
The role blends creative leadership, strategy and team development, to ensure content stays at the forefront of culture, creativity and performance.
Whilst the role is an initial 12mth fixed term contract, there is a possibility of it extending or going permanent.
Key Responsibilities:

In this role you'll lead the strategic and creative direction across multiple brand retainers, shaping how brands behave on social, guiding creative thinking, and ensuring every piece of content earns attention.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Social Strategy, translating business objective into content strategies
- Turn insights into creative opportunities by spotting emerging trends and creators and translating them into actionable ideas for brands
- Inspire great work by guiding and mentoring content teams to produce industry-leading social-first content
- Oversee creative development across all Always-On work, ensuring ideas are culturally relevant, strategically sharp and beautifully executed.
- Develop trusted trusted relationships with clients, becoming a strategic partner who understands their brand, business and audience.
- Act as a thought leader internally and externally, helping position the agency as a leading social & content agency
- Lead and support a team of Content Managers, Social Media Managers and Senior Social Media Managers.
- Mentor emerging talent and help them grow
- Maintain high standards of craft and strategic thinking
- 8+ years experience in social media, content or creative roles
- Experience leading teams in agency or brand environments
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect brand goals to platform behaviour
- Deep understanding of social platforms, creators and internet culture
- Confidence translating insights and data into creative direction
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience working across multiple brands and fast-moving projects
