Senior Account Manager | Creative Agency | 100-110k inc

A rare opportunity exists for a Senior Account Manager to join an established creative agency that combines content, production and technology experts.

Reporting to the Group Account Director, the Senior Account Manager will play an integral role in maintaining and growing client relationships. Strategically focused, they will gain a thorough understanding of their client's business needs
Connecting with multiple stakeholders they will be the ‘go-to’ for all client comms and queries helping shape their creative vision and will lead all client requests as well as to identify new opportunities to grow the account.

They will be vital in supporting the team to exceed client expectations on every project producing quality content that delivers exceptional results.
  
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Primary day-to-day point of contact for the Client
  • Be able to identify additional scope and opportunities across current and new projects.
  • Build strong knowledge and understanding of the client’s marketing strategies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of plans - strategic, marketing, new business, leveraging off insights acquired through supplied and sourced research.
  • Be proactive in seeking new business opportunities including identifying additional scopes across current and new clients and projects.
  • Co-ordinate briefs, prepare and present proposals to clients and support the GAD with monthly/quarterly reports and reviews.
  • Be across tracking and billing reports for retainers and projects where necessary, ensuring the agency is delivering to scope and SLA.
  • Ensure comprehensive briefs are written articulating client requests and setting the studio team up for success.
  • Maintain and update WIPs, project plans and client contact details.
  • Liaise with the finance department to ensure all projects are reconciled & invoices are paid.
  • When required, attend client events outside of standard working hours, such as workshops, networking events, and dinners.
What you’ll need:
  • 4-7 years experience in an account service role within the advertising industry.
  • Creative agency experience is desirable.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Competent in presenting.
  • Project management skills are highly desirable.
  • Highly organised, detailed oriented.
  • Strategic and creatively focussed.
  • Strong financial understanding including; quoting and scoping, process, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Experience in managing and delivering digital and printed content; brochure, OOH, social assets, email, web etc.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Confident, pro-active & personable
  • Tertiary qualified – A Tertiary qualification in communication, marketing, business or commerce would be an advantage
