HR Manager | Creative Agency | 3 days per week | 100-130k inc pro-rata

Independent creative agency that invests in its people is looking to add a newly created HR Manager position.  The role will be responsible for cultivating an exceptional employee experience, from designing reward and recognition programs to leading performance management and culture initiatives. 

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement meaningful reward and recognition programs tailored to the creative industry
  • Identify training needs across departments and develop bespoke learning programs
  • Support professional growth pathways and career development planning
  • Oversee the end-to-end performance review process
  • Coach line managers on goal-setting, feedback, and performance conversations
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution
  • Regularly measure employee engagement through surveys and feedback loops, and implement action plans accordingly.
  • Co-ordinate the recruitment process with Hiring Managers, scheduling interviews and gathering interview feedback
  • Develop strong relationships with key recruiters ensuring a thorough briefing process and providing timely candidate feedback
  • Deliver a standout onboarding experience that reflects the brand and culture
  • Support general office administration including facilities coordination and team logistics
Requirements:
  • Ideally 5+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably in creative, media, or startup environments.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic, approachable, and a strong advocate for a positive workplace culture
  • Proficient with HRIS platforms 
  • Creative thinker with a passion for building great workplace cultures
  • Strong problem-solving and mediation skills
  • Ideally time spent working in creative or media agencies
  • Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
