Brand Manager – FMCG (10-Month Maternity Contract)

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and commercially savvy Brand Manager to join a leading Drinks (FMCG) brand on a 10-month maternity leave contract.

This is your chance to take ownership of a well-loved Australian brand, shaping its story and presence across multiple international markets. You'll join a small, yet passionate, nimble, high performing marketing team to drive the brand across multiple regions and customer segments.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing global brand strategies, driving consistency, creativity and cut-through across all channels and regions.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to bring the brand to life, from campaign development and promotions through to partnerships and digital storytelling.

Core Focus:
  • Lead the creation and rollout of brand activities across local and international markets.
  • Deliver engaging marketing campaigns that build awareness and strengthen brand equity.
  • Manage retail activations, sponsorships, and events that drive visibility and sales.
  • Act as a true brand custodian ensuring consistency in tone, design and communication across all touch points.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors, retailers and agency partners to execute initiatives that resonate with consumers globally.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform brand positioning and future opportunities.
  • Celebrate the brand’s achievements and accolades through smart communication and PR initiatives.
You'll Require:
  • 7+ years’ minimum experience in brand management within an FMCG environment (essential).
  • Proven success leading end-to-end brand strategy and campaign execution.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and brand storytelling.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills – you can influence, inspire and align.
  • Strategic yet creative mindset – you see the big picture and know how to make it happen.
  • Experience working across multiple markets or cultures, with an adaptable, global perspective.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills – comfortable juggling multiple priorities and remaining hands-on in the day to day. 
Salary: $120 - $130k + super 
Hybrid: 3:2 onsite / remote (Sydney location)
Immediate Start for 10-Month Maternity Leave Contract.
