Digital Experience Specialist | 118-148k inc | City based

This leading global insurer is looking for a Snr Digital Experience Specialist to help improve the digital customer experience of the company’s sales and service platforms as they transition from an offline to online sales and service environment. The role will also design and develop apps and associated platforms to improve sales outcomes and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion digital strategy to manage the delivery of the overall Digital and User Experience (including usability and brand)
  • Contribute to the transition to online customer experiences and the delivery of signature digital customer experiences to align with strategies to win, retain and grow customers, working closely with the Customer Experience team
  • Engage early with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate these into requirements for UI and UX design
  • Map out the Digital Customer Journey to establish the customer flow prior to build
  • Manage external vendors where required to deliver customer testing / UX insights
  • Provide resource estimates and project planning and deliver to project outcomes
  • Ensure quality of output and delivery of digital platforms, managing all digital deliverables through SDLC and project lifecycles
  • Ensure internal and external customers have a positive experience including timely communications, quality of service, and management of expectations for new development and problem resolution
  • Apply advanced modular approaches to UX design, reusing and sharing components across solutions to ensure consistency
  • Collaborate with the Digital and broader Marketing team to deliver solutions that maximize the team’s value
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their business challenges
A bit about you:
  • A minimum 7 year’s experience in a similar or related role
  • Experience in customer-centric design principles in UI and UX
  • Experience delivering projects using agile methodologies
  • The ability to quickly understand business drivers and determine stakeholders’ critical success factors
  • Good business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work collaboratively across business units to deliver business outcomes
  • Strong experience in reviewing wireframes, storyboards and system user interface flows in a corporate, or consulting environment            
  • Ideally experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, statistics, technology or similar
