Social Media Manager/Social Strategist | Integrated Creative Agency | 80-100k inc

This a a great opportunity to take the lead on the social media strategy, content and delivery for a well known NFP and automotive brand. 
  
It’s also an opportunity to expand into PR career as you have the opportunity to work across creative PR campaigns, which include elements of social, earned media and content production and delivery across clients in the FMCG, automotive, travel and health arenas.  

This is an exciting time to join in the agency's evolution as they grow their PR client-base.

About the role: 
  • Curate and take ownership of social media strategies
  • Develop monthly content calendars, including copywriting, storyboarding and UGC curation
  • Work with paid social media managers and media agencies to dispatch and amplify content cross-channel
  • Schedule and amplify content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Tik Tok
  • Develop reactive content as required, using Photoshop, Canva or equivalent
  • Press release writing and media pitching
  • Media monitoring, including delivery of daily, weekly and monthly monitoring reports
  • Journalist liaison and proactive media placements
  • Influencer interaction and management
  • Support the delivery of events and activations
  • Liaise with clients on a daily basis to ensure effective account management
  • Liaise with internal departments including Business Management, Creative, Production and Finance
About you: 
  • Must be able to confidently lead a client independently, with support from Senior Business Director and Head of PR
  • 3+ years working in a social remit  
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience running paid social campaigns
  • Understanding of social media strategy
  • Understanding of Australian media landscape
  • Excellent writing skills (for media and social)
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Adobe Photoshop
