Job Description
Branding & Design agency head quartered in London is looking for a GAD/Client Services Director to take the next step in their career and lead the Sydney studio. This is still a hands on role, which aside from working across a range of exciting projects from branding, packaging, advertising and digital, will also be responsible for helping to grow the business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overarching responsibility for agency management and output
- Key client contact, responsible for all client service and project delivery
- Drive new business and pitching process for new accounts
- Alongside the CD, help increase the agency profile within the industry
- Build long term, trusting relationships with other industry partners including sister agency
- Financial monitoring of all accounts and the overall agency financials
- Manage employees including hiring, appraisals, training, professional development activities and HR processes
- Ensure a positive work environment and help enhance company culture
- Scoping of process, deliverables and costs for all new business
- Scheduling day-to-day workloads for internal teams, managing workforce demands
- Management of accounts based on both the strategic and creative process agreed, ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget
- Management of all legal and logistical business requirements
- Alongside the Creative Director, help guide the creative teams to produce world-class work
- Coordinate all production requirements including design, illustration, photography, research, copywriting, videography and animation
- Provide strategic support for creative projects
- 8+ years experience in Design agencies /Account Management/Direction for brand
- Design literate. Able to communicate brand and design effectively and passionately
- The ability to create and develop strong relationships within agency, current and potential clients and the wider industry
- Experience in tracking and setting budgets
- Good understanding of the wider market, future trends and consumer insights to suggest creative solutions
- Inspiring, motivating and positive leader. As well as team player - demonstrate ability to inspire, lead and also knuckle down with colleagues.
- Highly competent in using word processors, spreadsheets, keynote and other commonly used apps
