About the role:
- Lead a marketing and sales team of seven and report into the newly appointed CCO
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing and sales strategy and planning process to drive growth
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the marketing and sales team to cultivate a high-performance and cohesive team
- Full responsibility for the marketing budget, measuring effectiveness and maximising ROI
- Lead & develop all B2B channel marketing strategies to maximise profitability
- Work with the Commercial Analyst and Regional Sales Leads to conduct reporting and measure sales team effectiveness
- Extract key insights from data reporting to inform go-to-market strategies and future campaign development and tactics
- Interrogate market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Oversee a B2C Marketing Manager to leverage digital opportunities
- Build effective relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and internal and external stakeholders across the business
- Engage with the Regional Sales Leads and to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the regional business and market environment to adjust marketing strategies where appropriate
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with creative agency partners
- Nurture a goal orientated, entrepreneurial, teamwork environment
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior marketing role with a track record of growing revenue and market share in a complex business
- Entrepreneurial & confident leader with a track record for developing people
- Commercially minded and results focused approach
- Demonstrated experience in leading and driving a sales team in a complex environment
- Analytical approach to problem solving, developing insights and measuring success
- Ability to engage and manage a diverse and extensive stakeholder group
- Change management experience leading a team through change
- Demonstrated experience in omni-channel marketing and business delivery
- Great with people, a strong communicator, and a get it done approach
- Degree qualified in Marketing, Business or related disciplines
