Job Description
As the Digital Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for leading, implementing and delivering marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic and acquire new leads/customers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the digital marketing strategy through performance networks, including Google, search channels, affiliates, Facebook and Instagram
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist and Digital Media Agency on digital campaigns to increase direct web site sales (EDM, Website and Paid Digital)
- Manage a website conversion rate optimization program, conducting A/B tests and analyzing data to continually improve online sales
- Implement best-practice SEO and company listing principles, and deliver relevant and profitable organic search results
- Provide the business insights and analysis on digital and marketing campaign performance
- Build attribution models and report on PPC, SEO and performance marketing results
- Oversee website and content, offers, and user experience; merchandising and optimising for conversion
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities to increase website traffic, revenue growth, brand awareness and business growth
- Lead the development of a consumer-centric contact strategy that grows consumer loyalty, increases acquisition and brand advocacy
- Support the team in developing sales and marketing plans to reach set targets and objectives, and subsequently monitor their progress towards achievement
- Monitor, forecast and report on online sales results
- Optimise performance, design salesforce dashboards
and relevant channel management data to demonstrate impact, attribution and the commercial value of the marketing spend - In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, rally the team behind the marketing objectives and communicate directions and goals to achieve deliverables
- Minimum 10+ years experience within a digital marketing/digital media role with an ecommerce business or agency environment
- Proven success in managing multiple digital campaigns with a strong knowledge of SEM, SEO, Display, Mobile, Online Video and programmatic
- Strong expertise with ad serving, digital tracking, attribution modelling, analytical suites
- Excellent project management experience with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives
- Proven success in leading and energising teams to deliver desired results
- Strong commercial acumen, understanding of ROI and an analytical approach
- Understanding of the importance of the customer experience at all touch-points of the digital journey
- Ability to make important, prompt decisions in a dynamic environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related field
- Previous experience in the Tourism industry preferred
