iknowho is a specialist marketing recruitment agency based in North Sydney.  We’re a team of 7 and we’re really good with people…but we need someone to join our team who’s really good with numbers!
 
  
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
  
An exciting position has become available for a part time Finance Assistant to join our marketing recruitment agency.  We need someone with superb communication who is well organised and enjoys working with a diverse range people. A proactive person who can think outside the box, has great attention to detail and a friendly, upbeat personality.  Someone who can be trusted to be responsible for all the day-to-day financial processing and feels confident working autonomously. The role requires someone with a high level of numeracy, but not necessarily formal accounting credentials.

  
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Accounts Receivable (invoicing) processing
  • Accounts Payable (bills) processing
  • Expense report processing
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly Payroll inc Superannuation
  • Purchase Order management
  • Candidate Timesheet review and chasing
  • Bank and credit card processing
  • Assistance with tax compliance and reporting (including BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, FBT and GST)
  • Credit control and debt collection
  • Continued review and improvement of the processes and procedures
 
What do you need to be successful?

  • Experience using cloud accounting software package Xero
  • Highly motivated and focused on achieving goals and results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive attitude and ability to improve efficiency
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously
  • Sound accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working within a small/medium sized business
  • Professional work ethic
