Job Description

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving day-to-day projects across your major Australian telco/technology client’s business. Whilst the Business Director and Senior Account Manager will remain close to the day-to-day business, we will be looking to you to take on small to medium size briefs and manage this through the agency on your own.

This will require you to be responsible for taking live client briefs and working with the internal traffic team to help build a team around each brief that you work on.
  • Build strong client relationships, as well as displaying an understanding of the client business to ensure that you can suggest the best solutions in relation to the briefs you are working on
  • Provides a highly responsive client service and ensuring very high levels of client satisfaction
  • Manage reverse brief process with clients
  • Ensure that the client is well informed at all times in the form of status updates and schedules
  • Manage client project debrief process
  • Inputs into the weekly WIP meetings and ensures that all necessary actions are documented and actioned in a timely manner 
Creative / Project
  • Work closely with your line manager, creative teams and production teams in developing briefs, timelines and running day-to-day the projects
  • Work with Resource Management to manage requirements around each brief that you are working on
  • Manage the case study production process to ensure your clients projects are added to our case study library
  • Stay in tune with the industry to inspire creative solutions 
Financial / Commercial
  • Develop and collate project budgets from team leads, for approval by the Business Director
  • Accountable for all revenue across the briefs you are working on
  • Accountable for timely reconciliation and client communication on closing all briefs that you are working on 
Management / Skills required
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write effective briefs ensuring that you are communicating the client's briefs in the right way
  • Ability to estimate work required, allocate required resource and create project schedules (where required)
  • Meet deadlines and complete timesheets accurately and on time
  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, communications, or advertising preferred but not essential
  • Agency/Marketing experience ideal
  • The ability to work on and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Communication and client liaison skills
  • Ability to manage time and work to reflect project requirements 
  • Team player must be flexible, inclusive, positive and helpful
  • Excellent attention to detail
